(More customer reviews)If you are looking for a seat for an older American Standard ROMA #2009 (not the year) toilet, this is not the proper seat. The correct seat is the LC212000 white or other colors. This seat has a wrap around cover and is intended for another American Standard toilet model.
On logging in after having previously searched for an LC212000 this seat was recommended by the Amazon web site to us, and due to absence of the number in the title, along with the incorrect review below we were mislead into ordering the wrong seat from an Amazon "seller"
Notice that the seat model number is not displayed prominently with the item title as it is with the LC212000 unit. The image looks like the unit for a Roma toilet and the misleading review below immediately makes you think it's for the Roma toilet.

Look inside the toilet tank and you should see impressed the model number of the toilet. If it shows #2009 you want the LC212000 seat most likely. Also the rear of the existing seat bottom (if the original American Standard seat) usually displays the correct seat model number.
