It's better looking than my old kit and the knob has a nice sturdy feel (assuming you have a good cartridge). The temperature control lever is a bit flimsy but it works. I bought this because mine broke in half. This one should hold for several years at least.
If you are willing to spend a lot of cash on a really good trim kit, think about replacing the assembly with a modern one. That's the better option, but it could be more than ten times the cost depending on your setup.
