(More customer reviews)This item is fine if you're looking for a RESTRICTING device. Even at the fully open position it restricts flow to maybe half strength. Also, on my particular shower head, it changed the pattern of spray, I assume because of the narrow jet of water coming through the valve only hitting the central area of the shower head intake. This may not occur on other types of shower heads.

Control the flow of water with the turn of the knob. Have the water flowing from full on (6.5gpm @ 50psi) or down to a trickle or any flow in between (not 100% shut-off.)
