(More customer reviews)Be careful ordering this. The actual bar is only 15.5 inches. The additional 2.5 inches comes from the angled mounting hardware. It is 18 inches from the center of the mounting hardware. The bar is 5/8 inches in diameter, so becareful ordering replacement bars, which are sold by their true length. If you buy an 18 inch bar it will put the actual length of this towel holder at 20.5 inches. A little on the flimsy side and not really shiny chrome but shiny hollow aluminum bar. Hardware is chrome, though.
