(More customer reviews)Due to the construction of the base, you need to install a jam nut on each of the brass studs that thread into the bottom of the base. They have to be installed into the inside of the base through a very small opening. Takes a lot of patience and micro needle nose pliers. The studs go through the cut out in the sink to secure the faucet from the under side. If you don't install the jam nuts, the faucet base is so thin, the stud won't thread into the base securely. Plus, it's almost impossible to hold the stud from underneath the sink while trying to thread on the hold down nut at the same time. It's better to take the time to install the jam nuts before crawling under the sink.
The faucet itself, though is well made and works very well. It's one of the few water fall type faucets I've used that actually shuts off the water completely. The valve works very smoothly.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the faucet.
