(More customer reviews)My husband and I purchased the Ashfield Tub and Shower Faucet for the master bathroom in the (currently in progress) addition to our house. The set is beautiful, but the construction is shabby. The handle wobbles! We were very disappointed and would have returned it and started looking again... but the plumber either took the box/literature or threw it out. We can only hope that the sink faucets turn out better, since we're now stuck with them if we want a matching set. This wasn't worth the price (we paid about $200)- if you can get it discounted, great, but beware. Incidentally, after we learned about the problem, we tried the display in the nearby box store and it had the same issue, which leads me to believe that this is not an isolated flaw.

This Delta 19922-SSSD was $258 and we both liked the styling and the features. We thought the side mounted handle was odd but seems to be common these days. I check Amazon and was surprised at how much cheaper it was. It arrived in 2 days with Prime and I installed this weekend. The old clunker took 30 minutes to remove because of the number of pipes going through a single mounting nut. The new one has a mounting bracket that doesn't have to go around the pipes so it look less than 10 minutes to install. Great design. The instructions make everything seem more complicated because it is for numerous models and languages. My family is quite happy with the look and function. I would certainly recommend

The first one leaked no matter what we did and finally the plumber found a defect inside the faucet. A replacement was sent overnight, no questions asked (rah! for the vendor) and it leaked worse than the first one. It had to be removed at my expense and now we have to find another faucet. Do not buy this item if quality and reliability are on your list.

I had an easy time replacing the cartridge to the Moen faucet in my downstairs bathroom so I thought this would also be easy--nope. Buying the cartridge was easy, finding the "special tool" was fruitless unless I want to wait to order it online. Nevermind buying this special tool--my faucet has a plastic retainer nut, which is what the tool would have been used to remove--it is so stuck the tool wouldn't have done a thing--imagine using metal to remove a stuck piece of plastic. So, right now the retainer nut is stripped and mangled because I had to beat the crap out of it and I'm wondering if in my efforts to fix the thing I'll be buying a new faucet.

I had to replace an expensive Price-Pfister faucet that lasted two years. I didn't want to run around looking at faucets, taking up lots of time and possibly making another poor decision. It occurred to me that amazon might have some. Eureka! This lovely faucet was reasonably priced, is well-designed and lots of water gets through. The Price-Pfister was so politically correct that it let through only a thin stream. If you need a good faucet, look no further.

The hose has a weight which works perfectly to keep the spout seated firmly in the faucet assembly. Chrome gets spotty if not wiped down but this occurs with any chrome product. Sprayer component works perfectly and the handle operates smoothly and with minimum effort.
The faucet looks better than the picture once installed.
Highly recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)Purchased one of these at a home improvement store as an emergency replacement faucet. Selected the porcelain-handled model for (a) the name, and (b) because of the porcelain handles.
Could not possibly be more shocked or disappointed by the poor quality overall. Zoom in for a larger view and you'll easily see the slight gap between the faucet base and the handle stems. The handles rock! Not just a little, they easily deflect more than a quarter of an inch in all directions! Taking it apart to see if I could firm it up, the handles have a (hopefully) nylon base that rests on a (hopefully) nylon valve head, both are mushy and neither can be adjusted for a better fit.
The spout is not even straight! It deflects about one-eight of an inch from vertical starting at the bend and ending at the outlet.
And although it contains the normal plastic mounting tray that most faucets now use, you still need to add plumbers putty to the tray. At first I thought "Surely this is a mistake in the directions" and didn't add putty and it most defintely leaked. And after applying putty, it stopped leaking.
I've never written a negative review of a product before. This is so bad, I felt compelled to warn people. This is a throwaway faucet with a brand name on it and an unreasonably high price. It is junk, it is crap, and today I have to crawl back under the sink to pull it out and take it back.
You shouldn't have to pay hundreds of dollars to get a decent, nothing fancy, bathroom faucet! Bah!
