(More customer reviews)When we redid our bathroom I got sick of spending money on fixtures so I got two cheap drains for our Kohler sinks. It's just a drain, right? Wrong, the plastic ones sucked & kept clogging, then one actually cracked & started leaking a little. The frugal man pays in the end, and these drains are nicely made, solid, and have been great for the last year. If you don't get them, you'll end up like me, paying twice & installing the second set yourself!
BTW, I never knew drains were so involved - this one is for sinks with an overflow, they have another without the overflow holes also. I can't see that the holes would cause much of a problem for a non-overflow sink, but better to get the one you need.

Delta Faucet 75722 Seven-Spray Hand Shower, Chrome Review

(More customer reviews)Usually Delta products are the greatest and I have always specified them throughout my homes. (Yes, I'm a retired home builder.) Their warranties are among the best of all plumbing products.
However their hand-held showers are simply too restrictive on flow, seemingly way beyond modern code requirements. On this one, in any one of its several dial settings, you simply cannot experience a satisfying shower. (Warning label ominously says "don't attempt to modify the flow-restrictor or you will permanently damage the product". Without that instruction, I would have attempted to remove or drill-out that flow restrictor. ;-))
My solution was to return the Delta and purchase a Grohe, recommended by my plumbing supply wholesaler, and now can take a satisfying shower. Unfortunately the Grohe is much more expensive, but it certainly exudes quality. You may find other acceptable brands which are less costly outside of the Delta, Peerless, Glacier Bay circle.
Sorry Delta, this is the only complaint I've ever had in many years using Delta products. The Grohe is superb and worth every dime of the extra cost.

KOHLER K-8501-CP Master Shower 3-Way Invigorating Handshower, Polished Chrome Review

(More customer reviews)This handheld shower works great with lower water pressure and hard water. We've had it about 18 months and haven't had any problems with it clogging. We're on a well, so hard water is ever present. This unit replaced one I bought at a home improvement center that only lasted about 6 months before it got all clogged up. Because of our water pressure, we only use the one setting, but it's a good product.
Update: After 3 years, it is starting to fail. However, I'm buying the same model to replace it.

Danze D441600BN Bannockburn 18-Inch Towel Bar, Brushed Nickel Review

(More customer reviews)This towel bar consist of a pinkish red color much closer to the color of copper than oil rubbed bronze. In reality closer to the pinkish than red, and the color is noticeably different when near other "oil rubbed bronze" accessories such as door knobs and faucets other than Danze products. Danze faucets have a superior feel to them for the most part, but this product has a light weight feel (obviously not brass). They are reasonable in price, and you get what you pay for with these, an inexpensive product that doesn't fit well with other accessories with oil rubbed finish.
