(More customer reviews)I wanted a rainshower hand-held shower head, and this product is a perfect solution. It is very well made and provides a wide, even flow of water. The adjustment for other spray types is smooth and the water pressure is fine.
This is the shower head only; you will need to buy the hose and coupling separately.
The opening is a standard 1/2" male threaded end. While there are hoses available from Grohe, much less costly options are available. I used this on the hose and hardware from my former shower unit (also bought on Amazon): Waxman 8679200 5-Spray Distinctives Handheld Showerhead, Chrome. I wrapped the male end in teflon plumbers tape. So far, I have not seen any leaks.
If you don't mind the price, this shower head is a very good product.

(More customer reviews)We installed this base with the dreamline infinity sliding glass door. I was a bit concerned about the textured base but it is a slight texture, not as prominent as shown in the picture and it really does help not to slip.
The installation was a bit tricky. I had it professionally installed but it calls for quite a bit of cement to be poured under the base. I'm not sure if this is normal or not for tray installation, but this step surprised me so I thought I'd mention it.
Overall it is a great shower base and I feel we made a good choice on this for our remodeling project.

(More customer reviews)There is one spray pattern, no massage, and it is not as comfortable as the $12 unit it replaced, which had multiple patterns. But, there are very few hand held showers with pause controls, and sometimes that is very important.
We purchased it to bathe our several dogs because shower heads always land spray-side-up. That trickle valve really helps when you are wrestling a 100 pound wet dog and need to turn off the water easily.
The 5 ft hose is not long enough for dogs down in the tub so I used the 6 ft hose from the previous shower head.
The pause control is useful for people, too. I wish more hand helds had this simple feature.

What is good:
- The looks - simply superb; goes with any decor.
Mine was glass and chrome - and hence this was a no brainer
Unlike other made-in-China units, the handles are elegant as are the sumbols on the panels
- The water flow. Simply love the flow from the rain shower head
- The hand-held shower massage unit. Nice, stylish, strong yet lightweight, many settings, high waterflow if required - long hose
- The body sprays - finally a shower panel where the body sprays work!!
Love the mist setting... the massage setting is pretty good as well
- Has a tub spout; few shower panels have that!
- The entire unit is actually quite light, but where it matters - the valves, hoses, are heavy, durable construction
- It was a breeze to mount
- Love the separate holder for hanging the hand-held
- Customer Service:
- One of the body spray units was broken when the unit arrived.
I called their customer service, and they were prompt and courteous.
Drove down to Watsonville - and they replaced it free of charge and even gave me a few extra filters :)
What is bad:
- The body sprays are made from very light plastic; so be careful when mounting the unit
- There is not much room between the body sprays and the handles of the main valve - so it is difficult to wipe down (if you live in a hard water area - that is a must)
- I did not care too much for the mirror and the glass shelf. Albeit useful, I am sure the unit would have been more elgant without them

Great instructions.)
Well..., I've finally installed this set and I have to say that I am not as happy with it as I was when I bought it. After actually going through the installation, I found that the instructions are lacking in detail and clarity. I suppose a real plumber would not have any trouble.
The finish and appearance are still great, but there are a couple of things I don't like at all. When using the shower, the spout does not close off the water very well, so a significant amount goes down the drain, instead of to the showerhead (the troubleshooting guide says it needs to be replaced and I have not contacted the manufacturer yet). When using the tub, the water coming out of the spout actually curls around the outer lip and sprays a mist that goes outside the tub. The water flow out of the spout is the most inelegant looking I've ever seen (I know, it's picky, but it bugs me).
The minor, issues are: That the trim piece for the spout does not provide for any way to seal it to the wall, to prevent water intrusion when using the shower or when cleaning, and, the valve lever is not perfectly vertical (there is no way to adjust it either).

The valve and tub fill have good water pressure, but I think the shower head limits the flow to what was really a low flow rate. We combined this with a danze handheld showerhead (which has great pressure) and have left the other showerhead as the main one, so we don't use this as our showerhead anymore. For the price, you can't beat it, although you should seriously consider switching out the showerhead.

Delta Faucet 75580 In2ition 2-in-1 Handshower and Showerhead System Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this because we needed an easier way to clean the shower. Going back and forth with a sponge takes too long and bringing in a hose is unwieldy at best. The price was right and the way it operates makes sense.
The unit itself, once removed from its amazingly complex and strong packaging, is pretty darn big. The photos are taken from a perspective that makes it look smaller than it really is. However, the design is nice and the unusual sort of green/gray granite-look color scheme really does go well with most color shower tile.
There are plenty of really nice high-end units out there. You can spend hundreds, even thousands, on these fixtures. If you just dropped $15,000 on a designer shower with all the fixens, then this might not really fit in, as they say.
Installation is easy. The instructions say to tighten the housing to the pipe with pliers, but that would mar the chrome for sure. I found that hand tightening was fine when using teflon tape on the threads. The ball swivel is pretty tight, so you can just grab the whole housing and twist it on. The hose fitting go on by hand easily.
The hand-shower part snaps in and out of the main housing easily. There is a nice easy switch that controls flow to the hand shower only, the head unit only or to both at once. There is a ring on the hand shower part that you rotate to make it full flow, no flow or massage/pulsate. That is the worst feature as the ring is hard to grip and not at all easy to turn. I imagine some people simply would not be able to use that feature. Maybe it will loosen up in time.
The most surprising thing to me was the quality of the showering itself. It produces a very unusual soft and, actually, sensuous shower experience both from the two units together or from the hand shower part alone. My wife kind of went on and on about all this, so...
The water flow is reasonably strong. You do not get that cheap hotel no water feeling at all.
If you want an economical hand shower that is easy to install, helps clean your shower and produces a really nice, even satisfying, hot rain-like experience, this unit may be for you.

Delta Faucet 1748-74 Classic Single-Handle Tub and Shower Faucet, Chrome Review

(More customer reviews)After much contemplation I finally bought this and the companion 1724-74 to install in my shower at home. I did the work myself which took a little longer than I expected and had a few more trips to the hardware store, but I am quite satisfied with the accomplishment.
This installed very easily. I would encourage you to read the installation manual, if you are doing this, rather than just assuming you know how to install a faucet.
You have the ability to configure it for hot/cold on coming ni either side which was a nice feature.
It was very easy to get the scald guard adjusted right for me, contrary to a previous review. It is certainly more complicated than a faucet that just has individual on/off valves for the hot and cold line. But you can adjust the stop for the scald guard with a screwdriver and repositioning it in about 2 minutes.
The fact that it adjusts to manage the temperature makes for the fastest shower-up-to-temp time I have experienced. In the mornings, I just turn it on, wait and the shower is up to temp much faster than I am used to. I think the reason is that the faucet automatically goes full-hot until it starts getting hot water and then manages the hot/cold flow to keep the temperature stable. My previous shower faucet required continuous adjustement for the first several minutes of a shower.
The only down side is that I put two of these in the same shower, so the water comes at you from both sides (with indivudal temp control). Now I find we stay in the shower too long. But I don't think I can blame that on the faucet. :-)

(More customer reviews)This was a replacement for a builder-installed Delta faucet that used the single ball valve. The set looks nice, but I should have realized that the price was too good to offer more than basic water control. Unlike the ball valve it replaced, there is no independent control for pressure, so you set the valve for the right temperature and you get the pressure you get. Also, I'm disappointed with the flow pattern of the tub spigot. That could be an installation issue (I was less than impressed by other aspects of the hired installers work, so it may not be a fair reflection of the product). I have not yet used the show head, as we decided to continue using the one we already had and were happy with, so my comments pertain only to the water control valve and spigot.
I am happy with the finish and appearance of the set. It has an upgraded look to it compared to the original Delta set I had.

(More customer reviews)I got this model shower faucet for our cottages where they get a lot of use by many people of all age groups. They have worked flawlessly for a couple of years. The best feature by far is the temperature adjustment lever that you simply set and forget. Every time you turn the shower on, the temperature is the same which is especially safe with kids and older adults.
I did have a learning experience when installing it. I removed what I thought was a metal shipping bracket from the back of the shower assembly only to find the unit leaked water. The Delta service department must have heard of the problem before as they picked up on it immediately and had me reinstall the metal bracket. Everything worked fine after that!

(More customer reviews)For some reason, a great average showerhead is hard to find nowadays. I'm picky on showerheads; I like them strong, simple, easy and CHEAP! This one has it all. It took minutes to install, changing the setting with soapy wet hands is easy, the handle is anti-slip and best of all, the pressure is great. My old shower head only had strong pressure if I turned my faucet on to the max, thus emptying my hot water tank every time I'd wash/rince my hair (which is pretty thick). With this one, I get plenty of pressure and keep my hot water. It's also decently light. Please note though that it's a 5-star AVERAGE showerhead. It's what a TYPICAL showerhead should be. If you're looking for EXTRA pressure or EXTRA massage, then specialty items that cost a bit more might be for you.
