(More customer reviews)If you have a Mixet shower assembly and you need a new trim kit, this fits the bill. It's better looking than my old kit and the knob has a nice sturdy feel (assuming you have a good cartridge). The temperature control lever is a bit flimsy but it works. I bought this because mine broke in half. This one should hold for several years at least.
If you are willing to spend a lot of cash on a really good trim kit, think about replacing the assembly with a modern one. That's the better option, but it could be more than ten times the cost depending on your setup.

(More customer reviews)This Kohler looked great in my shower but produced too diffuse a spray for my taste.
The coverage is excellent as promised. But for rinsing or a heavy soaking, unless you're very tall or your showerhead is mounted very low, it's hard to get to the right position to catch much of the spray in a small area. if I were to cup my hands and hold them up, it takes several moments for them to fill with water.
Pressure is good, and one of the reasons I bought this was the single-function design implies it's simpler inside. Less fancy mechanisms to get gunked up with mineral deposits; those have made my older showerheads slowly decrease output over the years. However, the front of this Kohler is gently curved, which I suspect causes the diffuse spray pattern. At 5" wide, Kohler should probably have made the surface flat, with angled nozzles.
In my prefab shower (the kind with fiberglass walls), this is physically probably the largest showerhead I'd want that's not an overhead "rainshower".
Although I don't have the Devonshire line in my bathroom, the classic polished chrome looked fine with my Delta accessories.
This is the first showerhead I've tried that dribbled a bit from the threaded end when under pressure-- I might have worn down the threads on the showerhead pipe from attaching/removing different showerheads, or more likely the metal threads really need the recommended "teflon thread tape" to seal properly. That tape is a cheap, removable layer that goes on the threads before you screw the showerhead into place, and is about a buck for a small roll at my hardware store.
I like the showerhead: it's well-made and looks nice, and the water output is decent (hence the 4 stars), but the spray pattern doesn't suit me, so it's going back.

(More customer reviews)This showerhead combines a standard fixed nozzle with a long, removable hose-led hand shower to give the shower taker the ultimate control over their shower. Prior to buying this showerhead, I used a standard fixed showerhead that provided a measly stream of water and and its nozzles often got clogged. After installing this showerhead, the water pressure is excellent! A giant step up from my old showerhead. Not only is the pressure excellent, the water nozzles all face slightly different directions, which give you a great massage feeling.

Here's a run down of the three modes:
Hand Shower only: Provides the best water pressure, because the water comes out the fewest nozzles.
Fixed Shower only: Water comes out of the outer ring nozzles only.
Hand + Fixed Shower: Water comes out of all nozzles. Using the mode, the water covers a lot of area at one time (waterfall style)

Many parts of the unit are plastic, including the entire hand shower, which I can appreciate that due to its lightness and maneuverability. Also, when the hand shower is placed in its holder, it 'clicks' in place, so you don't have to mess with the hose to get the shower head to stray straight ahead.
The hand shower has four modes, two that are pulsing, and two that are non-pulsing (massage).
This is a great showerhead that I would recommend to almost anyone.
WARNING: The three-way splitter does lower the showerhead's height by a few inches, so if you have a low shower arm you may want to take some measurements to make sure this setup will work for you.

(More customer reviews)This shower head can produce some nice spray, and a relaxing shower. But it takes a good deal of water, and water pressure to get the best out of it. I usually use the needle spray setting, which is, to be honest, about that same as any standard shower. And I can use that with a modest twist of the valves. There are champagne settings (both coarse and fine), which are similar to standing under sparys from an aerated kitchen sink faucet (infused with air bubbles). It feels great, but to get the full effect, it's necessary to open the taps full sway. Then the bubbly water cascades over you, which feels great.
But because of the size of the areated shower spray openings, it's going to eat up a lot more water than a standard shower. And if you don't have good pressure in your house, you won't get a good, solid spray of bubbles.
If water conservation is a concern for you, this might not be the best choice.

It puts out *a lot* of apparent water at a good "increased" pressure. The spray from this head does not sting as others, but it really deludges you with water. I find I am taking faster showers now as it doesn't take as long to rinse off, AND I'm only using 1.5 GPM with this head.

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased a Speakman shower head at a local retailer and, while in the store, wondered why anyone in their right mind would pay $30 for the matching shower arm. I came home and found this one on Amazon and was delighted with the price. Now I'm not a professional plumber but I have installed many shower heads and at least 3 shower arms that I can remember, and have never had a problem (yes, I know how to use teflon tape). After trying several times to install this one and having leaks -- at the wall and at the head -- each time, I broke down and spent the $30 at the store for the name brand one. Now I know why it cost $30 -- it doesn't leak (it also matches the head, which this one did not). And while I'm sure there's a happy medium where it doesn't cost so much and doesn't leak, this will be the last time I buy a Danze product.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the fluidics showerhead after reading reviews from other sources and it's everything they say it is. I actually like it better than my old 2.5 gpm showerhead, and it's saving me money to boot.
This uses about a 3rd less water than the 2.5 gpm showerhead that came with the house, which if you consider a 15 minute shower is about 13 gallons of water per shower. Compound this daily and its about 5000 gallons of water saved per year per person.
Originally my wife thought she wouldn't want one in her bathroom since she thought it would be detrimental to her showering habits, but now she uses my shower to much, so I'm back to buy another one, this time for her shower. Kudos on super saver shipping since it makes this an easy task.

(More customer reviews)The first time I ordered one of these, I loved the full body spray pattern. It's really luxurious.
However the water pressure when limited to 2.5gpm is not sufficient to provide a good shower given the fact that this thing has 72 sprays. There was no obvious way to remove the 2.5gpm flow restrictor, and when I called Kohler, they said it was fixed and couldn't be removed, so I sent it back.
I then did some research, and figured out how to solve the problem. You can remove the water filter (metal gauze with black ring around it), then you will see the permanent water filter (a green disk). You can then take a power drill and drill through the green disk to create a free flow of water. Use a vacuum to make sure you get all the debris out to prevent it clogging the head.
After this modification, I tried the shower head and the spray was stronger. The shower now was one of the best I have had, and certainly the strongest given the water pressure in most modern houses.
After modification - this shower head delivers, a strong, luxurious and full body spray that will leave you satisfied. A great product, that requires small modfication due to our big brother government.

The Delta 75152 was also a great showerhead but I found that even at the water set at 1.85 gpm, the pressure was still feels like it stings my body. All I could think was the pressure needed to be just a little lower and it also has the same water coverage as the Delta 75252 so you dont feel like your showering with less water.
After changing the showerheads in our house to the 75152 and the 75151, more people are able to shower without having to wait for hot water and we can also shower at the same time without loss of water pressure like you would with normal showerheads.
If you want to save money, the Delta 75152 is a great showerhead and if you found that model to be a litter strong or want even more water savings, get the Delta 75151 as I did. At our water savings, we would be recouping the costs of the shower heads in a matter of 8 months.
