(More customer reviews)I bought 2 of these at Tuesday Morning. They were bought to replace two I bought (another brand / Corrego) from Sam's about a year ago that the finish came off of. These, the Ashfield, are holding up very well and I really like the swivel spout!

(More customer reviews)I replaced both faucets in our master bathroom with this faucet. It installed easily and works well. In fact it was harder to remove the old faucet than it was to install this one. The nice thing is that it also looks great. I had to make 1 trip to the hardware store for an adapter. The tubing for the drain par of the faucet was smaller diameter than the tubing to my trap so I had to get an adapter ring to go from the faucet to the trap. No big deal and not the faucet's fault. One of the things that I like most about the installation is that this faucet does not have the metal rod/clip device for opening and closing the plug for the sink. The device for this fauchet is a cable which goes to a screw-in adapter on the drain spot. Hard to describe, but lots easier to deal with than the old metal rod/clip method. I'm thinking of buying 2 more of these for the other bathroom faucets in our house and would not hesitate to do so.

(More customer reviews)I have replaced 3 bathroom faucets in the last few years. The originals were American Standard faucets and sinks (only one of the originals was replaced with a cheap faucet). Considering they were over 40 years old, I think they did well and it was well overdue for replacement. I replaced them all with American Standard faucets and this one was the best of the three for several reasons.

First, most sinks are too short for me and I have to bend forward a little to use them. This is exactly the kind of action that can give a person back problems. So not bending to turn on the faucet and wash my hands is a huge plus! Because the levers and the spout is tall, I actually don't have to bend with this sink anymore.
My American Standard sinks were designed to have to big holes and one small one in the center and a bit to the back. Modern sinks have three round holes of equal size. Because of the position of the center hole, finding an American Standard faucet that has water release valve that works is hard! But the good news is that I actually got this model to work! The release valve has no problems because of the angle it is in and it can fit in the older sink's center hole without problems.
Finally, I love the look of this faucet! It took under two hours to install it (I am not a plumber) and most of that time was spent trying to get the old faucet off. Over a year later it is still looking like new!
If you need a new faucet, I would highly recommend this one! It costs more than others but I think it is worth saving up for this one as it is worth it!
