(More customer reviews)I recently updated a bathroom and wanted a diverter spout to fit the existing space. The tile had been cut out a little larger than most of the newer spouts with narrower bases would cover. I was limited to finding something similar to what I removed, though a newer version. This spout is exactly as pictured. It is chrome and 5 inches long, so it is not too long for a standard tub. It has been in now for several months and still looks just fine and works as it should. The base of the unit where it attaches to the wall was large enough to cover the opening in the tile that was there. This is a slip fit spout as was the one it replaced, so it slips over the plumbing and just has a set screw (need Allen wrench) underneath to tighten it in place. I don't know if the quality will hold up for as long as my high end faucet or not, but it does look nice so far and must be better than the builder's grade that it replaced.
