In the Atrio series, spout, shower arm, diverter trim, and levers are all beautilful satin nickel, but there are several parts on the thermostatic trim that are made of plastic, in particular, the main plate. And the plastic parts do not exactly match the satin nickel color.
Needless to say I am a disappointed customer who paid a premium for Grohe as well as for the satin nickel look. I discovered this after contractor installed the thermostatic valve. So I called Grohe to see if I can get compatible metalic trim, and was told that the same components in the series are designed with plastic, and there is no metal option.
