(More customer reviews)What we are looking at is an RV lavatory faucet with an exposed diverter on top for a shower hose. This type of application is typical in an RV wet bathroom situation where due to limited space, the shower, toilet and lavatory sink are all in the shower stall. Everything gets wet, therefore it is called a wet bathroom. The diverter handle and hose connections on top of this faucet are not sealed from the interior of the cosmetic chrome plastic housing. There is a 1/16" gap around the pipe for the hose and a 1/8" gap around the diverter handle. Water enters very easy from above and has no way to exit except through the faucet supply connection area in your dry void spaces in your RV where water must never be. The faucet has to go back to engineering to make a functional product. I don't know how the faucet got a UPC plumbing certification. It is a mold environment waiting to happen in areas not accessable. The product would create more problems than what it was worth. It wasn't worth sending it back for a partial refund. I ended up putting it in my useless parts pile and reworking the plumbing in the RV to accommodate a separate shower faucet and a lavatory faucet. Both are sealed from the dry side of the installation like they are supposed to be; just like your house.
