(More customer reviews)Beware of this product. I had to learn the hard way. I have a Moen 4551 Monticello two handle lavatory faucet in my bathroom that has blistered and swollen on the chrome, near a chrome joint. I called Moen Customer Service to report the blistering on the faucet defect to Moen. Moen seemed largely uninterested in the defect, and acted like blistering and swelling of the chrome was not unusual. Moen said that their warranty did not cover the blistering and swelling of the chrome, and that the price to replace the faucet through them was approximately $240, which they admitted was way too much, and they suggested that I try another online retailer. I then purchased a replacement Moen 4551 Monticello faucet from Amazon.com, to replace my prior Moen 4551 that was defective. The Moen 4551 replacement that I received from Amazon.com was defective in that the copper pipe, inside the faucet neck, was too long. The end of the copper pipe with the copper threads that attach to the aerator, stuck out significantly past the chrome neck where the aerator attaches. The copper pipe sticking out with the large copper threads was very obvious and unsightly. The aerator looked awkward as it had a large and uneven angle and gap between the aerator and the the opening at the chrome neck. I returned the faucet to Amazon.com. I presumed that the defect in the Moen 4551 from Amazon.com was an anomaly, and not likely to happen again. I then ordered the same model from Faucet-Warehouse.com, and their faucet had the same ugly defect. Absolutely amazing! I called Moen customer service to report this at 1-800-289-6636, and could not get a live voice. Their customer service was so overwhelmed with calls that a recorded voice said that all they could do was for me to keypunch in my phone number and I would receive a return phone call in an estimated 1 hour and 6 minutes. I guess that I am not too surprised that their customer service is overwhelmed with calls, given my experience.
